Aurora Photos, an independent international photo agency located in Portland, Maine, is looking for an energetic, dedicated, organized,
team-oriented individual to assist with the production and distribution
of submissions from Aurora's contributing photographers. This entry
level position is a great way to get your start with a fast-growing
high-end multi-faceted photography agency.
Duties include:
- Working with Aurora's Digital Workflow
- Reviewing photographer submissions for technical image quality and
metadata quality & completeness
- Communicating Aurora's submission guidelines to contributors
- Assisting with the distribution of accepted images to Aurora's image
partners
- Keywording images
- Updating the Aurora's website, www.auroraphotos.com
Qualifications:
- Highly organized with a sharp attention to detail
- Excellent Adobe Photoshop skills
- Experience with image management or editing software such as iView
Media Pro, Photomechanic, Adobe Bridge, Lightroom, etc.
- Solid understanding of IPTC and image specific metadata (captioning,
keywording, etc)
- Knowledge of HTML, Flash, or other web design / programming applications
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of Filemaker Pro a plus
This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $21k plus
benefits.
