Aurora New Media Intern - Web & Flash Developer

Designs and builds interactive projects for the web utilizing some of the greatest photography in the world.

The New Media intern will work closely with Jose Azel, Aurora's president, in designing and developing photo centric web projects. As a new media intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a small, close-knit environment. It is a position that requires talent and self-motivation, creativity and a desire to communicate information through visual content. The experience gained will be an asset for a future career in multimedia and graphics, or project management. Students who are studying New Media or Computer Science are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Solid HTML and Flash programming skills
  • Excellent graphic design skills and strong portfolio
  • Macromedia Fireworks, Dreamweaver and Flash
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Basic CSS, SQL and server-side scripting skills a plus
